Terms and Conditions

• Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment for the class.
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Credits or rescheduling options may be provided under specific cancellation conditions.

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class to qualify for credit toward a future session.
• No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class.
• Class credits are non-transferable and can only be applied to one rescheduled session.

• Participants must adhere to the instructions and safety guidelines provided during the class.
• NE Local reserves the right to refuse service or remove participants from a class if their behavior disrupts the session or poses a risk to others.

• By enrolling in the class, participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the use of art supplies, tools, and equipment.
• NE Local, its instructors, and affiliates are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages incurred during or as a result of participation in the class.
• Participants agree to release NE Local from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the class.

• All materials provided during the class are the property of NE Local unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Participants may take home their completed artwork unless otherwise specified.

• NE Local reserves the right to photograph or record classes for promotional purposes.
• By attending, participants consent to the use of their likeness in marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify the instructor before the session begins.

• NE Local is not liable for cancellations or rescheduling due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond its control.

• Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian's consent to enroll in the class.
• Certain classes may have specific age restrictions; please review class descriptions carefully before registering.

I. Copyright
Ownership of Content:
All content provided by NE Local, including but not limited to text, artwork, designs, photographs, videos, and other materials, is protected under copyright law and remains the exclusive property of NE Local unless otherwise specified.
Participants may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content for commercial purposes without prior written consent from NE Local.

Participant Artwork:
Artwork created during classes remains the intellectual property of the participant. However, by participating in a class, you grant NE Local a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs or reproductions of your work for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Prohibited Use:
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of NE Local’s content may result in legal action.

Third-Party Materials:
NE Local respects the intellectual property rights of others and requires participants to do the same. Participants are prohibited from incorporating copyrighted materials into their work unless they have obtained appropriate permissions.

II. Slander and Defamation
Mutual Respect:
NE Local promotes a positive and respectful environment for all participants, instructors, and staff. Any defamatory statements, false accusations, or slanderous comments made about NE Local, its instructors, or other participants are strictly prohibited.

Liability for Statements:
Participants are responsible for any statements they make, in person or online, that harm the reputation of NE Local or others. This includes posts on social media, reviews, or other public platforms.
NE Local reserves the right to pursue legal action against individuals who make defamatory or slanderous statements that damage its reputation or business.

Resolution of Disputes:
If you have a concern or complaint about a class or experience, please contact NE Local directly at Natasha@ne-local.com. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably and professionally.

III. Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify and hold NE Local harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of violations of copyright laws or defamatory actions committed during or in relation to participation in classes.

IV. Amendments
NE Local reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued participation in our classes constitutes acceptance of any changes.
